About Us

Our logo, the Ume Musubi (梅結び) represents the care and attention to detail that our Japanese heritage brings to food and culture. “Ume” is the “plum flower” and “Musubi” means “tied”.  In Japan, the Mizuhiki (thin thread) is used instead of ribbon for presents, representing well wishes and good luck for the recipient.

With this ethos, our mission is to share our passion for simple yet sophisticated Japanese flavours through our thoughtfully crafted sauces that can be readily enjoyed at home with family and loved ones.
